As an attorney, Bill Woodcock has the perfect balance of ability to fight aggressively when necessary and finding peaceful solutions when possible. He has been described by judges, fellow attorneys and his clients as "high octane", "an attorney with an encyclopedic knowledge of the law", and "a genuine nice guy who fights when he needs to but prefers settlements when it benefits his client."
In the two decades since Bill graduated from Hastings College of Law, Bill has appeared in the Superior courts of Northern and Southern California while handling family law and divorce cases, with expertise in complex matters involving high-value assets, management of business entities and intellectual property during the dissolution process, fiduciary duties, high-earner spousal and child support, and custody of children (including interstate and international custody disputes).
"Proper analysis and planning at every phase of a case is crucial. It can make all the difference in how well a case proceeds, whether a reasonable settlement can be reached or whether success is achieved at trial in the rare circumstance when a case actually goes all the way to a trial." - Bill Woodcock
Bill is currently a partner and head of the litigation department at Nader, Naraghi & Woodcock, APLC.
In addition to being a practicing lawyer, Bill is also a:
- private judge,
- arbitrator, and
- published author ("How to Manage a Contest Divorce in California").
Your initial consultation with Bill will allow him to understand you and to explore your best possible options under the law. If hired, Bill works closely with his clients so that they can be informed and active participants in the management of their case.
In his free time, Bill enjoys spending time with his family, boating, and practicing guitar and martial arts.
