I was referred to this firm (specifically Hamid Naraghi) by my sister-in-law up in the Bay Area. I am a dentist, and I used this firm to represent me in the sale of my practice. I can’t say enough good things about the service and attentiveness of Mr. Hamid Naraghi. From the get-go, he had my best interest in mind and advised me with honesty and integrity every step of the way. He was always accessible and often got back to me within minutes/hours. Oftentimes I would call him and talk with him as early as 7 am. He was very transparent with his time and rate and was super fair with his charges. There were so many times that I would call and talk to him about little things and I am sure he didn’t charge me for it. He didn’t nickel and dime like many other attorneys. I have been a client of NNW for several years now and have used their services exclusively in a very lengthy and contentious divorce. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. I have always been able to count on them to respond to calls and correspondence promptly and to have answers or information I need in a very timely manner. I have been impressed with their breadth and depth of knowledge in family law and I have referred several friends and associates to them who have had equally positive experiences in their respective proceedings (thankfully much shorter than my own). My personal attorney, Bill Woodcock, is a well-practiced litigator and has a solid grasp of the statutes and case laws, making him a very effective advocate in the courtroom. He has represented me in multiple hearings during my divorce. I say this as someone who works in a litigious environment daily (albeit not family law) and has worked with numerous other attorneys on unrelated matters. I have certainly seen both high and low-quality representation and I am highly satisfied with Bill and NNW for my own personal needs. Critically, I have never felt like I was being taken advantage of financially or that the firm was trying to nickel and dime me for their work. I do firmly believe you get what you pay for, especially when it comes to professional services, and my engagement with NNW has been well worth it. The work product I’ve received for my money has been an outstanding investment. I almost never leave reviews for anything and I am not receiving anything in return for this review. It was very important for me to work with lawyers that were not only seasoned experts, but that had integrity. When I talked to Hamid and Bill about handling my divorce, it was obvious that they are extremely knowledgeable and experienced in family law and are comfortable handling complex cases. Moreover, it was clear their values aligned with mine. Their confidence and ability to handle my divorce provided a “buffer” and allowed me to emotionally step away from the opposing’s lies and scheming and move on with my life in peace as much as possible. The head of the firm is Hamid, and it’s clear he’s very knowledgeable and truly cares about his clients (as does everyone else in his firm). The first time I was in court with Bill, his professionalism and integrity stood out in stark contrast to the opposing, which confirmed I had made the right choice for a law firm. At some of the most upsetting moments, Amir has been a pragmatic rock of reason and extremely supportive. He once said, “We will walk with you every step of the way,” and that has stuck in my head throughout. The hidden gem of the firm is paralegal Elvira – she is efficient, organized, and so friendly that you would want her as part of your family. This team will not disappoint if it’s important for you to have both expertise AND uncompromising ethics.

Top-Notch Service Worth Every Penny Jun 13, 2022

I have spent way too much money on 2 other lawyers before finding them. While the other lawyers I had, had a lower hourly rate, they were "garbage" compared to Bill Woodcock. Yes, it was hard in the beginning to swallow the price tag, but the service I have received is top-notch and was worth every penny. When I say service, that means: 1) Legal knowledge and navigation of everything involving a divorce, including being human. 2) Business ethics: Very transparent communication. If things were not clear for Bill or Elvira, they do not pretend to know everything and have billed me accordingly. I never had the impression that I got billed for something that wasn't necessary or unfair or just racking up the bill for the sake of "printing" money for them, in other words, "lazy". (Unlike with all of my other lawyer experiences.) I can wholeheartedly say, I have gotten a really good deal with Bill, Elvira, and their partners as they have, in my eyes, mastered to run their firm as a firm to be of service for their clients first in mind. I would 100% work with him again, plus refer all my friends and family to him. PS: Also, to be clear: I have not been compensated for anything I said here.

Strategic, Calm, and Reasonable Jun 10, 2022

I am so happy I went with Nader Naraghi and Woodcock even though this is obviously not a happy situation. I have been experiencing the challenge of a high conflict separation these last 4 years, and I am so thankful to have Bill. He is knowledgeable, gives good honest advice, and moves so cleanly. Another thing I am so impressed with is his ability to move strategically without a speck of manipulativeness, inauthenticity, cold calculation or any of the shadow aspects of strategy that are not aligned with my values. . . High conflict people know how to mask, obscure what’s going on, and trigger people — when I hear of other friends’ experiences, it seems like many lawyers get locked into pointless lose-lose power struggles that kick up dirt, obscure what is really going on, and cost unnecessary time and money. Bill moves so differently. He is so reasonable, calm, straightforward, and clean. I have a lot of love and heart-shaped eyes for their paralegal Elvira and others in this firm such as Amir and Hamid as well who are all supportive.
